Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux systems (RHEL, OEL, CentOS).
  • Perform system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Implement and manage virtualization platforms using VMware, Hyper-V, and Oracle VM.
  • Oversee middleware server administration including JBOSS, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
  • Configure and manage load balancers (Apache, HA Proxy, NGINX) to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Deploy and maintain containerized environments using OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Administer Kafka Confluent for platform streaming and real-time event-driven systems.
  • Develop automation scripts using Ansible, BASH, PowerShell, and Batch scripting to streamline processes.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to the OSI model and implement best practices for network communication and system security.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams for end-to-end service delivery.
Non-Negotiables / Must Have

10+ years System Administration experience

Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) & Linux (RHEL/OEL/CentOS) mastery

Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Oracle VM)

Automation scripting (Ansible/BASH/PowerShell)

Middleware, Load Balancing, and Containerization

Kafka Confluent experience
