Junior Buyer/Purchasing Assistant (Grocery)

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Procurement Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Request and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and update inventory databases
  • Monitor supplier performance and foster strong, long-term vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
  • Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in BSBA, IT, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Tech-savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Willingness to travel to different regions as required
