AP Staff Accountant

The A/P Staff Accountant will perform the functions outlined below: Perform general staff accounting duties as an Associate level of RF's Accounting & Tax practice which may include:

Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts

Pay debts as they come due for payment, including necessary bills as well as supplier and vendor invoices

Execute the reconciliation of prepaid balances
-
Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors - Maintain the annual budget and chart of accounts
-
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy
-
Prepare financial statements to be reviewed by certified accountant
-
Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system
-
Provide administrative support to management when required
-
Enter time according to policies in software
-
Travel and Expense support (review & audit expense reports) and process for reimbursement
Requirements
Education Qualification and Experience
-
1-3 years of working experience in related field is preferred
-
Minimum of associate's degree in business administration, accounting, or relevant field
-
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
-
Experience with accounting software
-
QuickBooks and NetSuite experience is preferred
-
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
-
Data entry
-
Excellent understanding of accounting concepts

Displays initiatives and accountability
