Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with at least 2 years of professional experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Philippine accounting standards and compliance, with additional exposure to Australian bookkeeping considered a significant advantage.

Work Setup:
Full-time Regular; Morning Shift; Onsite Ortigas Pasig

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and collections.
  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, cash flow, and expense tracking.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and ensure compliance with government requirements (BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
  • Support tax compliance activities, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax filings.
  • Work with auditors by providing financial records and required documentation.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial records are audit-ready.
  • Provide accurate financial data and analysis to management for business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar finance role.
  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA license is an advantage but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, compliance, and government reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

  • Australian bookkeeping experience – familiarity with AU accounting standards, BAS (Business Activity Statements), GST reporting, superannuation, and payroll processing is highly desirable. This background will be a strong asset in supporting international clients and ensuring compliance with Australian requirements.
  • Experience working with multinational companies or BPO clients.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based accounting platforms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity.
