Overview

We are looking for a skilled Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This role focuses on improving conversion rates across the sales funnel by running structured experiments, analyzing user behavior, and providing UX-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in D2C CRO strategies.


Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor

Monthly Rate: 78,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM NSW Time (Flexible during client business hours), 40 hours per week

Purpose: Improve conversion rates across the funnel by running structured experiments, analyzing user behavior, and developing UX-driven recommendations.

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Audit funnel performance (Homepage → PLP → PDP → Checkout)
  • Analyze user behavior using heat-maps, recordings, and scroll-depth tracking
  • Identify UX and messaging bottlenecks
  • Create hypotheses and A/B testing plans
  • Collaborate with UX, design, and copy teams
  • Provide weekly insights and recommendations
  • Coordinate CRO implementations with developers

Expected Output

  • 2–3 CRO tests per month
  • Weekly CRO insights report
  • Monthly funnel audit

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

  • 2+ years of CRO experience (D2C preferred)
  • Familiarity with GA4, Hotjar / Microsoft Clarity, A/B testing tools, Web UX fundamentals

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical problem-solving

KPI Targets:

  • +15–30% CVR uplift in 90 days
