Job Role Summary/Overview

A leading Australian furniture and homewares retailer with sophisticated e-commerce operations spanning multiple advanced platforms. They value quality partnerships and have a track record of successful long-term virtual assistant relationships. You'll step into a critical role supporting a well-established retail brand's complex e-commerce ecosystem. Working alongside a dedicated team of two full-time professionals, you'll provide essential overflow capacity for high-level web content management and merchandising operations.

Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Approximately PHP 65,000
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible during business hours | Sydney, Australian Eastern Time

  • Work Arrangement: Work from home

  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product publishing workflows and data accuracy across BigCommerce platform
  • Execute advanced merchandising operations using Salsify PIM system
  • Support website content creation and maintenance for established e-commerce operations
  • Collaborate directly with existing full-time team members on strategic initiatives
  • Handle complex system integrations between multiple e-commerce platforms
  • Maintain product data integrity across sophisticated technology stack
  • Provide overflow support during peak periods and special projects
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience with proven track record
  • Extensive BigCommerce platform experience (non-negotiable)
  • Strong background in PIM systems and product data management
  • Bonus if you have Salsify PIM experience
  • It helps if you're familiar with SearchSpring or similar search optimization tools
