Reporting to: Assistant Manager - Purchasing and Inventory Management

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will ensure all internal stakeholders are able to record the inventory accurately and on a timely basis and in accordance with the company standards, policies, and procedures. You will also be responsible for consolidation of data and preparation of reports related to inventory management.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Reviews and audits inventory reports for operating supplies, spare parts, scrap disposals, vehicle, computer, and other equipment including random checking for accuracy verification.
  • Consolidates all inventory reports including out of stock and slow moving items
  • Recommends and executes inventory process improvement tasks
  • Prepares and updates policies and procedures

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Has a Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year course.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP is an advantage.
