Business Analyst

We are seeking a
Business Analyst
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and improving business processes related to disbursements. You will work closely with a project team, including business and technical experts, to deliver IT solutions.

Responsibilities

Specifically, the business analyst will:

  • Analyze existing processes:
    Conduct in-depth analysis of current processes, requirements, design specifications, and applications to understand the system.
  • Design and refine solutions:
    Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
  • Develop detailed requirements:
    Create new project requirements, including wireframes for user experience and interface, data specifications, business rules, workflows, integration points, and role-based access definitions.
  • Support testing:
    Help prepare and review test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure they align with defined requirements.
  • Conduct demonstrations:
    Lead product demos and usability tests for product owners and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on user acceptance testing:
    Work with the testing team and assist users with user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Manage issues:
    Help monitor, manage, and resolve bugs and other issues.

Qualifications

We require the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    At least five years of strong business analysis experience, with a focus on end-to-end IT solution implementation and system integration.
  • Industry knowledge:
    Experience in banking, accounting, or financial services is a plus.
  • Process and design:
    At least three years of experience in solution design and documenting business processes.
  • Technical skills:
  • Experience with IT application testing and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of project and systems development lifecycles.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Soft skills:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
