The Project Planner works closely with Project Management team, and is dedicated in meticulously crafting and managing detailed project plans and schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position is in-charge of complete project coordination, optimization of resource usage, and mitigation of potential project delays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Plans, monitors, and tracks the progress of projects throughout the life cycles from project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring, until the project closeout

● Creates, outlines, and monitors the scope of assigned project/s and work schedule, including determining the start and delivery dates

● Analyzes each project phase to properly determine accomplishments, plan milestones, and required budget

● Estimates project timeline and ensures that the Construction team adheres to determined timeframe and deadlines

● Tracks project costs and ensures that implementation stays within the identified estimates

● Provides assistance in the identification and evaluation of risks that can derail project delivery and helps provide solutions for its prevention

● Provides assistance in the identification of priority deliverables and any expectations in terms of quality and timing

● Provides timely reports on deviations to the original project plan that can lead to delivery delays and budget overruns

● Liaises project timelines across the Division

● Ensures that appropriate planning measures are implemented to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of contracts and budgets

● Prepares regular internal and external reports for Management

● Performs other functions and tasks as assigned or required from time to time

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, or other related course

At least 1 year of experience in the Construction and Engineering industry as Project Planner

Competencies:

● Strong attention to details and prioritization skills, people management, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills

● Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to communicate processes, timelines, and schedules clearly

● Proven experience in project management,

● In-depth knowledge of construction and engineering industry including principles, practices, and technologies

● Familiarity with the construction and engineering standards and its metrics

● Ability to adjust procedures and may design the project plans to align with the Project Director and/or Project Manager's preferred model

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
