Job Summary:
 The Demand Planner & Order Manager is responsible for building accurate demand forecasts and order plans by analyzing historical sales, channel forecasts, and new business opportunities. The role ensures proper alignment of product availability with business growth strategies, balancing forecast accuracy with supply constraints to minimize stock-outs and overstock.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
 Prior experience in demand planning, forecasting, or order management in retail or FMCG preferred

Skills:
 Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination abilities; excellent communication with cross-functional teams

Attitude:
 Strategic thinker, proactive, solutions-driven, detail-oriented

Technical:
 Proficiency in MS Excel, forecasting tools, and familiarity with ERP/supply chain systems

Key Responsibilities:

·       Build demand and order plans based on:

o   Historical sales (including stock-outs)

o   Channel forecasts

o   New store projections

o   Same-store sales growth

o   New product launches

·       Balance demand forecasts against supply constraints (MOQ, lead time, etc.)

·       Adjust orders proactively based on product movement and sales trends

·       Consolidate and analyze sales trends, sell-through rates, and seasonal patterns

·       Collaborate with Retail, Marketing, and PWL to plan inbound quantities

·       Provide channel-specific recommendations to avoid overstock or stockouts

·       Regularly update forecast models based on real-time sales movement
