Trade Support Senior Executive

  • Provide trade support for contracts management, cargo planning, vessel chartering and operations.
  • Monitor and reconcile trade discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Liaise with traders, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate trade execution and settlement.
  • Liaise with customer on price quotations and ensure cargo readiness for dispatch
  • Manage accounts receivable processes and ensure timely collections
  • Assist in the preparation of trade reports and analysis for management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade support or a similar role with strong understanding of the palm/agri trading and sales industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and trading operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience with trading platforms and systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa language is an advantage, as the role involves regular communication with factories in Malaysia and Indonesia.
