  • Record purchase-related trade transactions in the system.
  • Coordinate the signing of purchase contract with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Freight Desk for booking freight and issues pertaining to shipping line
  • Check load port daily quality report provided by surveyors
  • Provide pre-arrival shipment updates to the trader
  • Liaise with surveyors and inspection agents upon arrival at the destination
  • Prepare monthly stock reconciliation for goods received at the destination point
  • Review and coordinate internally for warehouse agreements arranged by the Trader
  • Liaise with traders and insurance companies to ensure efficient handling of claims
  • Coordinate with the Freight Desk to manage vessel chartering requirements
  • Monitor and coordinate vessel performance, including demurrage and detention matters
  • Provide regular updates on vessel status with the trader
  • Coordinate charter liability coverage with the insurance provider
  • Prepare Letter of Indemnity (LOI) as required.
  • Cross-check the purchase contract against the sales contract for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare the commercial invoice and ensure supporting documents comply with the payment method specified in the sales agreement.
  • Monitor and report risk exposure regularly

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • With 2 to 3 years of related working experience
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
  • Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • With good business acumen, maturity, integrity and independence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to travel as required
