Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you'll handle bookkeeping, tax return preparation, financial statements, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance for global clients. You'll leverage accounting tools and processes to deliver exceptional financial solutions from the comfort of your home.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Preferred knowledge of ATO services
• Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to meet challenging deadlines
• Strong computer literacy; experience with accounting and workflow management programs an advantage
• Experience with cloud applications
• Practical and creative problem-solving
• Can demonstrate initiative and drive improvements
• High emotional maturity
• Team player and quick learner
• Willingness to undertake additional training
• Demonstrate initiative and leadership coupled with enthusiasm and energy

Your Daily Tasks

• Bookkeeping duties using Xero
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements
• Reconciliations, journal entries, work paper preparation, spreadsheet analysis
• Preparing letters and draft emails to and on behalf of client
• Review of peer work to ensure accuracy and quality for client manager
