Data Analyst

Role Summary

Create and maintain data-driven dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights for Amazon operations and executive management.

Work closely with the Head of Amazon Sales to define KPIs, interpret business logic, and translate it into clear, accurate visuals.

Collaborate with the Data Engineer to ensure data models and transformations reflect real-world metrics, and with the Automation & AI Engineer to streamline reporting and insights delivery.

Two specializations exist within this role:

• Operations Analyst – focuses on day-to-day operational metrics (sales, listings, logistics, pricing, advertising performance).
• Executive Analyst – focuses on higher-level KPIs (profitability, growth, market share, P&L insights).

Both collaborate tightly with the Head of Amazon Sales to ensure consistency and clarity across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executive and operational teams (depending on specialization).
• Define, interpret, and validate KPIs and business metrics in alignment with the Head of Amazon Sales.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineer to ensure metric definitions are correctly implemented in dbt models (staging → core → marts).
• Manage and update a data dictionary / business glossary to document all key metrics and dimensions.
• Validate data across systems (Power BI, Grafana, source APIs) and run data accuracy checks regularly.
• Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with the Data Engineer to resolve or correct them.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer time-sensitive questions from leadership and operations.
• Produce and distribute scheduled reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) summarizing trends and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate insights and trends effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting opportunities or issues.
• Collaborate with the Automation & AI Engineer to automate recurring reports, alerts, or KPI notifications.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating datasets
• Excellent understanding of data visualization and storytelling principles
• Solid experience in data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation
• Ability to translate business logic into metric definitions
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, Power Pivot)
• Understanding of KPI frameworks for e-commerce and Amazon operations
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills with both technical and business teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Grafana, Lightdash, or Metabase for validation and metric exploration
• Familiarity with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for lightweight analysis or automation
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and how dbt models are structured
• Experience working with or similar business tools for reporting
• Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and related datasets
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills for leadership updates

Pay: Php22, Php27,000.00 per month
