Requirements:

ASP.NET Core

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Must be clearly stated in the resume (projects, tools, responsibilities).

.NET & .NET Core

  • Minimum 3 years combined experience.
  • Look for version numbers (e.g., .NET Core 3.1, .NET 6/7) to assess depth.

Back-End Development

  • Proven end-to-end backend service/app development.
  • Must include RESTful API development or maintenance.

Preferred Skills:

Entity Framework (EF Core or EF 6+)

  • Experience with ORM/data access layers.

LINQ

  • Practical usage in querying collections or databases.

Web API Development

  • Building and consuming APIs with ASP.NET Core.
  • Bonus: auth, versioning, Swagger/OpenAPI.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Backend Applications

  • Build and maintain scalable backend services using ASP.NET Core and .NET Core/.NET.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs.

Database Integration

  • Use Entity Framework (EF Core or EF 6+) for database access and ORM functionality.
  • Write efficient queries using LINQ for data retrieval and manipulation.

API Design and Management

  • Develop APIs with proper authentication/authorization.
  • Implement API versioning and documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).

End-to-End Project Involvement

  • Contribute to the full software development life cycle (design, development, testing, deployment).
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications.

Code Quality and Standards

  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (if applicable).

Optional/Preferred

  • Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) if part of the environment.
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
