Job Summary:

The Deputy Construction Manager is accountable for end-to-end delivery of ground-up commercial projects—on time, on budget, and to defined quality and safety standards. The role orchestrates civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection disciplines; validates scope and cost; enforces quality assurance and quality control; and ensures full regulatory and occupational safety compliance. It leads testing, commissioning, and turnover to operations, develops and validates floor plans when required, and drives stakeholder alignment across contractors, landlords, and internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Lead end-to-end delivery of ground-up commercial projects, owning schedule, budget, quality, safety, and final turnover.

·       Coordinate all trades (civil/structural; mechanical; electrical; plumbing; sanitary; fire protection) for clash-free sequencing and on-time milestones.

·       Review drawings and Bills of Quantities; validate cost estimates; manage value engineering, change orders, and progress billings.

·       Enforce quality assurance and quality control, including approved inspection and test plans, material approvals, inspections/tests, and non-conformance closure—while ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

·       Secure permits and coordinate utilities; lead testing and commissioning, punch-list closure, as-built documentation, warranties, and provide concise progress/risk reports; manage contractors and mentor site engineers.

Job Qualifications:

·       Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect with at least three years in the same role (Deputy Construction Manager or equivalent) on commercial projects; proven ground-up delivery.

·       Strong coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection trades; solid cost estimation and contract/change management background.

·       Working knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines, Philippine Fire Code (RA 9514), Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Mechanical Code, Sanitary Code, and landlord/authority processes.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Project or Primavera, AutoCAD or Revit (reading/mark-ups), and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

·       Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency; willing to work on-site in Libis, Quezon City, with travel to project sites as needed.
