Motion Designer II

The Motion Designer II works with team members and project managers to ensure deliverables align with project objectives and quality standards. Actively manages multiple project requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines. Handles video post-production requests with minimal supervision and conducts thorough quality checks to ensure final outputs meet client expectations and internal business standards.

Job Responsibilities

Content Management

Text Animation and Design Replication: Recreate or replicate 2D and 3D text animations and visual designs from provided references.

Packshot and Label Modification: Modify or replace packshots, product shots, and labels in both 2D and 3D video assets.

Video Localization

Localize on-screen text using provided translation files and design templates,

Integrate voiceovers, create subtitles, and embed SRT files into videos using client-provided assets.

Video Adaptation: Resize and modify videos based on client briefs and requirements to suit different platforms or markets.

Raw Footage Editing: Edit and splice raw footage from shoots and external sources, combining scenes to ensure a cohesive and polished final output.

Internal Video Requests: Manage in-scope internal video tasks, including HR requests, social media videos, e-learning content, and event coverage.

Visual Consistency: Ensure all animations and edits align with brand guidelines and campaign look and feel.

Asset Management: Maintain an organized asset library for easy retrieval.

Project Coordination & Deadline Management

Handle multiple project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines,

Adapt to shifting deadlines with flexibility and a constructive mindset.

Meetings, Reporting, & Performance Monitoring

Utilize reporting platforms such as Jira for task monitoring and provide daily reports to the team lead or manager,

Adhere to performance metrics and team goals set by the project lead,

Participate in training and meetings led by the team lead, PMs, or global counterparts.

Onsite Work & Training

Must be available for on-site work once a week, including scheduled on-site training sessions as needed.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A graduate of any Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with a strong passion for video editing,

At least 1 to 2 years of professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools,

Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other video editing software,

Basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator,

Strong design skills and a creative mindset with a good eye for visual storytelling,

Working knowledge and understanding of motion graphics,

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools,

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal,

Strong ability to prioritize, balance, and organize multiple tasks simultaneously,

Deadline-driven with a proactive and positive attitude,

Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy,

Capable of identifying risks and potential issues, with a solution-oriented mindset,

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distill complex requirements into clear, actionable steps.

Work set-up and working hours:

2:30pm - 11:30pm PHT Monday to Friday
