Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that all potential properties for acquisition undergo complete due diligence. Ensures that no legal, technical, or ownership issues arise during the acquisition, conversion of ownership, or subsequent selling of the property.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive technical, legal, and political due diligence on all potential properties for acquisition.
  • Assess the property's actual status, ensuring no boundary disputes, construction restrictions, or technical issues exist.
  • Verify property ownership, titles, and related documentation to prevent future disputes.
  • Identify and evaluate any encumbrances or annotations on property titles, and recommend appropriate remedies to ensure transferability of ownership.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and regulatory agencies to secure required permits, clearances, and compliance documents for raw land due diligence.
  • Identify potential risks in property acquisition and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely conversion of property ownership post-acquisition.
  • Prepare and present detailed due diligence reports to management for informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all property due diligence documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of the acquisition process.
  • Support post-acquisition activities, including property selling or transfer, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Legal Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in property acquisition, real estate due diligence, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of property laws, title verification, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Paralegal background is a plus
