We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. The Bookkeeper will maintain financial records, process transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping for smooth business operations.

Job Description: 

General Accounting

  • Ensure that financial transactions are recorded in accordance with local accounting principles and compliance regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and process journal entries, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Monitor accounting activities and ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate regulations, and company policies.

Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Manage and review AP and AR activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation of vendor payments and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection of accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.

Payroll Checking

  • Verify the accuracy of payroll data, including tax deductions, employee benefits, and other related items.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and tax regulations regarding employee compensation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in Bookkeeping.
  • Prior experience in managing AP/AR and payroll checking.
  • Familiarity with Philippine accounting and tax regulations.
  • Knowledgeable in XERO accounting software or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
