About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team at Pacific Skyloft Residences Condominium Corporation in Sampaloc, Manila. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing timely reports to support the overall financial management of our condominium corporation. As Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and transparently.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  2. Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts on a regular basis
  3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  4. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide financial analysis to support decision-making
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  6. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to provide financial information and support
  7. Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and procedures
  8. Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and the board of directors

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  8. CPA or CMA certification is an advantage
