The Inventory Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, efficient stock movement, and timely allocation of products across both
online and offline stores
. This role combines analytical inventory management with merchandising functions, helping support sales performance, product availability, and overall store productivity. The position plays a key role in forecasting, replenishment, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels across all channels (offline stores, e-commerce, warehouse).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
  • Identify slow-moving, fast-moving, and out-of-stock items and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.

Stock Allocation & Replenishment

  • Execute timely and accurate
    stock allocation
    to online and offline stores based on sales trends, store capacity, and inventory requirements.
  • Monitor stock transfers, replenishments, and returns to ensure balanced inventory distribution.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery and receiving processes.
  • Track stock availability for new product launches and promotional activities.

Merchandising Support

  • Assist in planning product assortment for stores based on sales performance and consumer demand.
  • Support the Merchandising team in analyzing buying trends and recommending reorder quantities.
  • Collaborate with store teams to ensure accurate product display and inventory readiness.
  • Provide insights on product movement and store performance to guide merchandising decisions.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate inventory data in the system and ensure timely updates.
  • Generate sales and stock movement dashboards for management and merchandising review.
  • Analyze historical data to assist in forecasting and demand planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, E-commerce, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to address stock concerns.
  • Coordinate with Marketing for inventory requirements during promotions or campaigns.
  • Support internal audits related to inventory and merchandising processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least
    1–3 years of experience
    in inventory, merchandising, or retail operations (experience in FMCG or beauty/skincare industry is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
