Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & KPIs

  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets—analyze sales data, customer behavior, and product trends to improve performance.
  • Develop strategies to increase average spend, customer retention, and transaction volume.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics (e.g. revenue, costs, customer flow, conversion).
  • Support pricing strategy, promotions, and seasonal campaigns with a focus on ROI.

Operations & Store Management

  • Lead daily store operations to ensure smooth workflows, product consistency, and top tier service.
  • Manage inventory, suppliers, and order processes to optimize cost and reduce waste.
  • Ensure cleanliness, health & safety compliance, and efficient layout for both staff and customers.
  • Establish clear operational systems and checklists to improve reliability and accountability.

Financial Oversight

  • Track expenses, manage petty cash, and monitor cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Identify opportunities for operational cost savings and margin improvements.
  • Collaborate with ownership on basic P&L reviews and forecasting.

Customer Experience & Community

  • Deliver a memorable in-store experience through excellent service and attention to detail.
  • Respond to customer feedback and concerns with care and professionalism.
  • Build rapport with local customers, community partners, and loyal followers.

Brand & Local Marketing (Supporting Role)

  • Support brand consistency in-store through layout, signage, packaging, and staff presentation.
  • Contribute to local marketing efforts including social media, community events, and in store promotions.
  • Ensure all customer touchpoints reflect the brand's values and tone.

Team Management (if applicable)

  • Hire, train, and supervise part-time baristas (if any).
  • Set expectations, coach for performance, and foster a collaborative, high-standards culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, F&B, or brand marketing.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design, trends, and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Basic budgeting, inventory management, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and wear multiple hats.
  • Passion for coffee and customer service is a big plus
