Job Description

• We are looking for an SEO/SEM Specialist to manage the Search engine optimization and related marketing activities.
• As the SEO/SEM Specialist, you'll identify strategies, techniques, and tactics to increase the number of visitors to the website and obtain high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines. 
• Ensure ongoing visibility and traffic growth in competitive verticals like gambling and finance
• Proactively monitor SEO health, ranking threats, and algorithm shifts
• Develop strategies for discoverability in AI-powered search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity)
• By generating more leads for the business, you'll open up new opportunities for driving growth and profit. 
• You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as the keyword strategy and reporting. 

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor, audit, and optimize top-performing and high-revenue pages to preserve and grow rankings
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and campaigns
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and implement recommendations for on-page and off-page optimization
• Optimize for visibility in AI-driven search tools and evolving search platforms
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Identify and respond to SEO threats, including algorithm shifts or competitor attacks
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Improve internal link structure to boost site-wide SEO performance
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with content and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
• Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates, emerging tools, and competitive trends
• Provide clear, ongoing reporting with KPIs tied to rankings, traffic, and conversions

Core Competencies

• +5 years of experience in an SEO/SEM role
• +3 years of experience working within the Crypto/Fintech/DeFi space.
• Proven SEO experience
• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
