Salary Range: ₱15,600 (Monthly Base Salary)

Position Overview

Reporting to: Engineering Supervisor / Cluster General Manager (CH)

Supervises: Maintenance Department

The Properties Building Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance works across a variety of hotel systems, equipment, and facilities. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general repair tasks to ensure the hotel operates smoothly and safely, delivering the best possible

guest experience.

Scope: Max 500 rooms

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair guest room and public area issues such as lighting, airconditioning, plumbing leaks, fixtures, furniture, and minor carpentry.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests raised by departments and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support kitchen and laundry equipment upkeep, coordinating with external vendors as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire protection standards.
  • Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of hotel equipment and appliances.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, repair logs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, F&B, and front office teams to support operational needs.
  • Provide on-call/emergency maintenance assistance when required.

Qualifications:

  • Technical/Vocational Diploma or Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in property or hotel maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge in at least two trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and safety regulations.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically fit to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
