Job Summary

The HR Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and organizing the Human Resources Department's procedures and processes in alignment with company policies. This role supervises the HR team, provides guidance on complex HR issues, and partners with department leaders to ensure compliance, improve processes, and promote a positive work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and organizes the department's HR procedures and processes consistent with company policies; evaluates current procedures and recommends improvements.
  • Supervises the HR staff, providing guidance on resolving non-routine issues and investigating employee concerns or complaints.
  • Advises department administrators on HR matters, including compensation/classification, grievance procedures, and staffing needs.
  • Partners with management to investigate, assess, and implement disciplinary and corrective actions. Attends meetings addressing performance concerns and collaborates with directors and legal services to ensure appropriate personnel actions.
  • Manages HR department services that support performance management and employee engagement.
  • Oversees employee benefit plans, including health insurance, eligibility processes, notices, and the annual open enrollment process.
  • Participates in management team discussions to develop organizational strategies, address critical HR issues, and resolve staffing, policy interpretation, and reorganization matters.
  • Performs other management-mandated functions and supports HR initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    4 years of experience in an HR supervisory role
    .
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Willing to work fully onsite, Monday to Friday.
