We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA) to join our enterprise systems team. This role is ideal for professionals who specialize in managing and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or other enterprise application databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across mission-critical environments.

As a Senior Apps DBA, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of application databases, including installation, patching, cloning, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. You will work closely with application developers, functional teams, and infrastructure engineers to support business operations and ensure seamless integration between applications and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Oracle EBS or other enterprise application databases.
  • Perform application and database upgrades, patches, and cloning activities.
  • Monitor system performance and implement tuning strategies.
  • Manage backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and other tools.
  • Ensure database and application security, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Automate routine tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document procedures and maintain operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Apps DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12, Oracle Database 12c/19c, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and OEM.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php140,000.00 per month
