We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in managing mission-critical Oracle database environments and are passionate about ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.

As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems across development, testing, and production environments. You will work closely with application developers, system engineers, and business stakeholders to support enterprise applications and ensure high availability and reliability of data services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and tools.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes using RMAN and other tools.
  • Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with data governance policies.
  • Perform capacity planning and storage management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Automate routine tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and OEM.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting and performance tuning.
  • Experience with cloud-based Oracle deployments (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
  • Solid understanding of database security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php140,000.00 per month
