Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain custom Shopify apps
    (embedded/admin) with
    , Remix, Express.
  • Implement OAuth flows, token storage, and secure webhook handling.
  • Work with
    Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL & REST)
    to handle order/customer/product data.
  • Create and deploy Shopify frontend extensions (Checkout UI, Customer Account UI, Theme App Extensions).
  • Model schemas and manage persistence using
    Prisma + SQL Server
    .
  • Own the full app lifecycle: deployments, Partner Console installs, versioning, onboarding, troubleshooting.
  • Ensure apps run reliably across multiple stores and themes.
  • Stay current with Shopify developer updates and adapt apps accordingly

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years full-stack development, 3+ years Shopify app dev.
  • , Remix, Express

  • React + Polaris UI, App Bridge
    .
  • Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL/REST)
    .
  • OAuth flows, webhooks (secure/HMAC validation).
  • Prisma (schema modelling, migrations, queries).
  • SQL Server (our environment; other SQL experience acceptable if Prisma based).
  • Comfortable using
    AI coding tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
    .

Nice-to-Have:

  • Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
  • ERP or business system integration experience.
  • Shopify Partner/Developer certification
