Job Description:

  • Provides legal advice and support on:

  • personnel policies, which may include policies on compensation and benefits

  • Personnel matters, which may include staff grievances, disciplinary procedure and conduct of administrative investigations
  • Data privacy and data protection policies
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Reviewing laws and regulations applicable to specified matters.
  • Preparing legal documentation and conducting legal research.
  • Providing strategic opinions and business positions
  • Represents the Company before the Courts and Tribunals, as well as Administrative Offices such as DTI
  • Manages legal records and documentations
  • Conducts contract reviews with several international and local manufacturers
  • In-charge of compliance with registration requirements and all submissions with the National Privacy Commission
  • Register and maintains intellectual property registrations and compliance with the Intellectual Property Office
  • Drafts relevant Company policies in compliance with new legislation

Qualifications:

  • Must be a law/board passer with at least 4 years work experience
  • Must have litigation experience in criminal, civil and labor cases, with deep analytical skills, proficient contract review capability, knowledge and possibly experience in Data Privacy law, issuances and policies and can or has handled administrative investigations.
