Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Legal Counsel located in Quezon City, but with some work-from-home flexibility. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing legal documents, handling contract negotiations, addressing legal issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Legal Counsel will work closely with various departments to mitigate legal risks and support business activities.

Qualifications

  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business goals while minimizing riskfff
  • Monitor and interpret new laws, regulations, and industry developments, ensuring the company remains compliantIdentify, assess, and manage legal risks across the organization
  • Ensure the company's compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company's interests
  • Manage and oversee litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution matters
  • fCollaborate with external regulatory bodies, law firms, and key stakeholders to address legal and compliance matters
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent. Admission to the Bar is required
  • 10+ years of progressive legal experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law, ideally within the financial services or technology industry
