Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal with extensive experience in U.S. law and legal processes. The role involves providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys and business stakeholders in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of U.S. legal procedures, contract management, and compliance requirements, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and proofread a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, pleadings, and corporate filings.
  • Conduct legal research on U.S. laws, regulations, and case precedents to support attorneys in case preparation and compliance matters.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of documentation for litigation, hearings, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized legal files, databases, and document management systems.
  • Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and entity management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure timely submission and tracking of legal documents.
  • Review and summarize legal correspondence, discovery materials, and reports.
  • Manage contract lifecycles, including renewals, amendments, and expirations.
  • Monitor deadlines, filing requirements, and court schedules to ensure compliance with U.S. legal timelines.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling confidential legal communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or equivalent; Juris Doctor or Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience supporting U.S. attorneys or law firms.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. legal systems, terminology, and procedures.
  • Experience with contract review and corporate documentation preferred.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize complex legal materials.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments and time zones.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to U.S. corporate, employment, or commercial law.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw.
  • Experience supporting remote or international teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php80, Php90,000.00 per month
