Process Control Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor process control systems, equipment panels, and instrumentation for designated production lines and processing areas.
  • Record process variables such as flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and levels and make necessary adjustments based on control parameters.
  • Interpret readings from gauges, meters, and computerized systems to detect deviations and initiate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to address process deviations or equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and adjust process setting to maintain product specifications.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's), safety guidelines and batch production records.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational problems and support root cause analysis for process-related issues.
  • Participate in start-up, shut-down and cleaning process of production systems
  • Comply with safety, environmental, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Industrial Technology, Chemical Technology and other technical or vocational courses.
  • At least 2 years of experience in process operations or machine control in a manufacturing setup (experience in chemical and detergent industry is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with process control systems PLC/SCADA and production machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and production KPI's
  • Attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules and render overtime.
