Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the EHS Head. Pollution Control Officer is responsible in the Environment and Pollution Control Management System which conforms to the requirements of the Philippine statutory and Regulatory requirements, International Standards (Whichever needed), and requirements established by Ionics EMS, and ensure its effective implementation.
General Function:
a. Maintain and provide improvement whenever necessary to Environment and Pollution Control system of the organization.
b. Provide and Implement Environment and Pollution Control Program for whole organization.
c. Perform Environment and Pollution Control Audit / Inspection results and suggests recommendations for improvement;
d. Attend meetings and seminars given by different sectors to update and benchmark with regards to Environment Health and Safety newest trend and practice.
e. Facilitate compliance of the establishment he represents with the requirements that may from time to time be prescribed by the Department;
f. Conduct investigation reports of Environmental and Pollution Control related accidents/incidents and implement recommendation for it to ensure not to recur.
