Job Summary:

The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role ensures that all instruments, sensors, and automation systems operate efficiently, accurately, and safely in support of plant operations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Conduct site assessments, prepare instrument data sheets, and develop control logic diagrams and wiring layouts.

Configure and calibrate process instruments such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, pH sensors, and level indicators.

Integrate field instruments with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control platforms.

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades on automation and control systems.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers during design and commissioning phases.

Prepare technical documentation, operation manuals, and reports.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control system design, installation, and maintenance—preferably in water and wastewater or industrial process projects.

Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and instrument calibration.

Knowledgeable in P&ID interpretation, control loop tuning, and electrical schematics.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php45,000.00 per month
