Job Summary

The Marketing and Business Development Supervisor will oversee and manage sales pipelines, and support the implementation of strategic growth plans. This role combines hands-on marketing and sales execution with team leadership to identify opportunities, nurture client relationships, close deals, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the business acquisition lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

 Marketing

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation across digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage and oversee campaign execution including planning, budgeting, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights that inform marketing plans.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors (e.g., sales, creatives, agencies) to ensure consistent branding and communication efforts.

 Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company goals
  • Qualify leads and manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing
  • Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations, proposals, and pricing
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities and pipeline updates

 Supervision & Team Management

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor business development associates or executives
  • Allocate team targets and monitor KPIs to ensure high performance
  • Conduct regular team meetings and review sessions
  • Support the development of sales tools, pitch decks, and talking points

 Strategic Planning

  • Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and client account plans
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with campaigns

 Administrative & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
  • Ensure adherence to internal contracting protocols and coordination with the legal team
  • Manage client onboarding requirements including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation
  • Ensure business development processes align with industry regulatory standards and internal compliance policies
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation for audit and risk management purposes
  • Liaise with finance, legal, and compliance teams for contract review, verification, and sign-off

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally within IT, BPO, SaaS, or tech-enabled services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and contract lifecycle processes
  • Understanding of KYC, CDD, data privacy, and applicable local/international regulatory frameworks
