About the roleAs a Supply Planning Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting the global supply planning activities. This role focuses on supply planning for cyanide and emulsifiers with an emphasis on developing mid-term supply and production plans. You will help manage inventory levels, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the smooth delivery of products to customers.
What you will be doing- Coordinates and supports supply planning for relevant manufacturing plants for mining chemicals.
- Ensures the right level of stock in the right locations and eliminating redundancies in the system.
- Works with SMC Supply Chain to drive inventory target.
- Communicates and links market place activities with production priorities.
- Balances the supply master plan to optimize manufacturing capacity and reduce cost.
- Participates in weekly/monthly communication with key stakeholders on supply plan.
- Supports responses to escalated issues/situation at plant or at delivery domain.
- Helps recalibrate the plan with various stakeholders, and collaborate across Orica
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all Planning related Master Data objects.
- Effectively captures and communicates delivery and manufacturing data to key stakeholders as required.
- Relevant Degree related to industrial engineering or supply chain.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in Supply Chain Planning in an MNC environment (preferably with a global organisation).
- Familiarity with logistics processes such as transportation, warehousing, and distribution is a plus.
- Highly organised and customer focused.
- Basic understanding of MRP and knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint is an advantage.
