The Yayoi Service Crew is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. This role involves welcoming customers, taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant in line with Yayoi's standards of quality and hospitality.

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and take customer orders accurately
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with service standards
  • Ensure proper table setup and maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
  • Provide attentive service and respond promptly to guest needs and concerns
  • Process bills and payments using POS systems
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and setup
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Work closely with kitchen and other FOH staff for smooth operations
  • Handle dine-in, take-out, and delivery transactions as needed
  • Promote menu items, specials, and loyalty programs when applicable
  • Uphold the brand image and customer service standards of Yayoi

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate or College Level
  • Previous experience in casual or fast-casual dining preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and presentable appearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of basic POS systems is an advantage
