DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report directly to the Department Head
  • Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe- Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms like Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Keep up to date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design and business trends
  • Responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics, and text captions
  • Work closely with Aliw Broadcasting Web Writer and Desk Editor for content and editorial judgement
  • Provide up to date details for all Aliw Broadcasting Social Networking platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tiktok) during flash reports, special coverage and major events
  • Write and post content online and maintain Aliw Broadcasting Web pages and blogs
  • Contibute to and update Aliw Broadcasting Social Media sites
  • Monitor Social Media outlets and respond on topics related to Aliw Broadcasting
  • Prepare internal and external communications, press releases, corporate reports, presentation, and technical documentations
  • Monitor news and update the social media sites and relevant topics to be coordinated to desk for concerns or writing of story
  • Manage the high volume of daily social media posts
  • To assist and to perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Department Head.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in creating content for social media or digital platforms.
  • Skilled in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Good understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Creative and able to come up with engaging content ideas.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to manage time well and meet deadlines.
