- Defines, strategizes, and justify the entire plan for the project (work plan, team structure, team process, stakeholder involvement plan, configuration management plan, management plans, and the like) the execution of the project plan in meeting the organization's goal for project schedule, budget, and quality expectation.
- Uses metrics to monitor (EVM), analyze, and manage your projects
- Reports an accurate project status internally to management, and to relevant customer stakeholders
- Manages client relationships and expectations for the duration of the project. Handles change management.
- Ensures contracted product & work requirements are fulfilled. In case of scope changes, process the change request and manage customer expectations.
- Proactively identify risks & risk mitigation to improve project success. Manage project issues in a timely manner.
- Drives quality through the entire project lifecycle by ensuring project adherence to process and tools (includes review activities by the PM)
- Handles multiple projects simultaneously (in most cases)
- Drives root cause analysis (RCA), continuous improvements, and other activities that will prevent project failures or improve delivery success (both internally for the team, or external dependencies)
- Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
- Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
- Helps product owners to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Coaches the development team about Agile techniques like User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
- Independently and properly manage custom projects, especially with the identification and management of risks and issues affecting project delivery and PnL
- Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Must have experience as Product Owner.
- Must have experience as Business Analyst
- Experience in handling complex projects following Agile methodologies.
- Experience in handling web and mobile applications.
- Previous experience in handling 10 to 15-man roster projects.
- Proven experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
