Hiring company Overview: SMC Integrated Farm Specialist Inc. is a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation established in 2018.

SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry. Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition, and healthcare.

Qualifications:


• Educational Background: Graduate of any 4 – 5 years course in Engineering is advantage but not required, Business Management, or a related field.


• Work Experience: Have at least 2 years' relative experience in a food industry.

Skills and Knowledge:


• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance.


• Excellent knowledge of standard poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, inventory and variance managements.


• Good Communication skills both oral and written.


• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills.


• Highly mobile and/ or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.

A
QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they are released to customers. They inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, or finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:


• Ensures the Customer Product Standards and Specifications are strictly implemented in the operation.


• Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and Quality and Food Safety System are implemented throughout the operation.


• Ensure orderliness, cleanliness and sanitation of Production facilities and its auxiliary facilities such Wastewater Treatment and Rendering Plants.


• Demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of self and others.


• Demonstrates commitment to Company Rules and Regulations


• Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior
