QA/QC Engineer

Full job description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure the quality and safety of electrical construction projects. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures specific to electrical installations, conducting inspections, testing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Detailed Job Description:

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and processes for electrical construction projects.
• Design and execute test plans and inspection protocols for electrical installations, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct inspections of electrical materials, components, and workmanship during all project phases.
• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems to verify performance and functionality.
• Identify and report non-conformances, defects, and safety hazards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings, design reviews, and project meetings to provide quality input and recommendations.
• Document quality records, test results, inspection findings, and corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and safety performance.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields)

Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001)

PRC license or board certification

Experience:

At least 1 year in a QA/QC role or relevant role

Project management experience is a plus

Skills:

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
