Job Details:

The client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices and payments, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.

Job Details:

  • Hybrid (3x Onsite, 2x WFH) | Ortigas, Pasig
  • Dayshift (6 AM to 3 PM PH Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process vendor invoices in a timely manner across various Trusts.
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment execution.
  • Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts, promptly addressing discrepancies or issues.
  • Set up new vendor accounts in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist in preparing and processing weekly payment runs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist in performing daily bank reconciliations across all accounts.
  • Reconcile daily credit card transactions and prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all accounts payable and credit card transactions.
  • Manage employee expense claims to ensure timely reimbursements.
  • Process related party transactions to reconcile inter-entity balances, ensuring alignment between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable at month-end.
  • Collaborate with finance, property, and other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
  • Oversee and maintain the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely responses and up-to-date communication.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payables and credit card expenses. · Perform other duties relevant to accounts payable as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role, with a strong understanding of vendor management and AP processes.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting concepts, including capital expenditure, prepayments, and accruals.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
