About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented IT / Camera Monitoring Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, ensuring the security of facilities, and providing basic IT support for hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can respond quickly during incidents, and has a good technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV and security camera feeds in real time to detect unusual activities or security breaches.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and escalate issues following company protocols.
  • Review, retrieve, and archive CCTV footage as required.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting for CCTV equipment, cameras, NVRs, and related systems.
  • Provide first-level IT support for employees (hardware, software, and network troubleshooting).
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on camera systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare incident reports and logs for security-related findings.
  • Assist the IT team with equipment setup, configuration, and system updates.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs or technical escalations when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • Experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance operations, or IT support is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of networks, hardware troubleshooting, and security systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert during monitoring shifts.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays if required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
