Cashier and Merchandising Assistant responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Process transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit, debit cards and e-wallets.
  • Issue receipts, change, refunds, and tickets.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges.
  • Bag or gift-wrap customer purchases.
  • Balancing the cash drawer by means of counting it from the start of duty and at the end of the shift.
  • Resolve customer complaints and answer questions about products and services.
  • Greet customers and maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Stock shelves and ensure products are available for customers.
  • Organize and arrange product displays to attract customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including checkout areas and sales floors.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring and product placement.
  • Help with planning promotional offers and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure price tags and promotional signage are accurate and in place.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php468.00 per day
