About the role

Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier at MKS Workforce Management Services Inc.' in Makati City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash and card transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the checkout process.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and assist customers with their purchases
  2. Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions
  3. Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the start and end of each shift
  4. Provide excellent customer service and handle any inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
  5. Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
  6. Collaborate with the broader retail team to support store operations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in the retail industry
  2. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail to handle cash and financial transactions accurately
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service
  4. Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure during busy periods
  5. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on additional tasks as required
  6. High school diploma or equivalent
