About the role

Zirconia Inc' is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our thriving retail team in Makati City Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently processing sales transactions and managing cash handling and reconciliation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Accurately processing customer transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods
  3. Maintaining cash drawers, ensuring accurate balancing and reconciliation at the start and end of each shift
  4. Handling customer inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner
  5. Restocking and maintaining the presentation of merchandise in the designated sales areas
  6. Adhering to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling, security, and loss prevention
  7. Collaborating with the wider retail team to provide a seamless and enjoyable customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing retail role
  2. Strong mathematical and money-handling skills with an eye for detail
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers
  4. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  5. A positive, friendly, and professional demeanour
  6. A commitment to providing superior customer service
  7. With a height of 5'3
