Job Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and validate the backup power systems for the industry battery pack
  • Create and review schematics, select components, and support PCB layout
  • Conduct electrical validation, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and test teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Assist in meeting product certification and safety standards (e.g., UL, UN38.3)
  • Optimize circuit design for performance, cost, and reliability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in switching power supply design, AC/DC and DC/DC converters (isolated & non-isolated), circuit simulation, and magnetic component design
  • Applying methodologies such as WCCA, DFMEA, and feedback compensator design
  • Familiar with tools like OrCAD, Altium, or similar
  • Basic understanding of battery systems or power electronics
  • Ability to read technical documents in English
  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • Good Mandarin reading and listening ability is preferred

Job Summary:

Design and develop analog and digital power systems at AES-KY, with responsibilities including board design, validation of emerging technologies (such as BBU, UPS, and AI applications), performance optimization, system troubleshooting, compliance with safety regulations, and integration of smart energy solutions.
