  2. To assist the Internal Audit Head in managing the San Miguel Foods Internal Audit responsible for providing independent, objective assurance and consulting activities relating to financial, operations, tax compliance, computer audit services, and other non-traditional activities to San Miguel Foods units to help the organization add value and improve its operations, and accomplish its objectives.
  3. To assist the Internal Audit Head in developing and implementing quality assurance and improvement programs that covers all aspects of the internal audit activity and continuously monitor its effectiveness in support of the short and long term vision of San Miguel Foods Companies in general and San Miguel Foods Internal Audit in particular.
  4. To help San Miguel Foods accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
  5. To assist the Internal Audit Head in developing and executing a comprehensive program of Internal Auditing for San Miguel Foods Companies, the objectives of which include:

  2. Assisting the organization by:
  • Identifying and evaluating significant exposures to risk and contributing to the improvement of risk management and control systems, and
  • Maintaining effective controls by evaluating their effectiveness and efficiency and by promoting continuous improvement.

  2. Evaluating risk exposures, and adequacy and effectiveness of controls relating to and encompassing the organization's governance, operations, and information systems regarding the:
  • Reliability and integrity of financial and operational data;
  • Effectiveness and efficiency of operation;
  • Safeguarding of assets;
  • Compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, regulations and contracts, and
  • Accomplishment of established objectives and goals for operations or programs.

  2. Communicating to Management the results of assurance and consulting engagements undertaken by the group and by outside internal audit service providers, including recommendations for operating improvements aimed at promoting overall efficiency and effectiveness, and maintaining a system to monitor disposition of audit concerns raised.

5. To participate in an advisory capacity, in the development or modification of systems from its conceptual planning stage to its implementation reviews.
