We are looking for goal-oriented individuals to fill in the INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER role.
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible in managing the internal audit projects throughout the company and makes necessary recommendations that add value to the process under review. He works closely with the managers and partners from third-party organizations providing joint internal audit support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares the Annual Audit Plan and ensures that audit objectives are met.
- Manages internal auditors and their respective internal audit assignments
- Undertake audit planning and risk assessments related to each assignment to ensure that the engagement identifies potential business risks.
- Ensures that detailed audit work is effectively focused on identified risk area per audit assignment.
- Ensures that recommendations are clearly presented to and agreed upon by department heads
- Ensures that all agreed-upon recommendations are subsequently implemented
- Stay abreast of internal audit best practices both internally and externally and provide conduit for introducing those practices to the IA Team.
- Delivers accurate presentations to the audit committee
- Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection laws and internal policies
- Advise on data protection impact assessments and risk mitigation
- Respond to data subject requests and oversee breach management
- Liaise with regulators on audits, investigations, and notifications
- Develop and deliver data protection training and awareness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA or CIA & CDPO
- 10 years of solid experience in the same capacity, with strong people management skills
- With strong background in ISO procedure (ISO 9001:2015)
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate at different levels within the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willing to be assigned in Pasig Area (in front of Estancia Mall), and report on-site Monday to Friday
