UI Designer — Remote (Philippines) | Australia-Friendly Hours

Help us craft beautiful, accessible web experiences—while being mentored 1:1 by our Creative Director.

The Role

We're hiring a UI Designer to join our distributed creative team. You'll work closely with the Creative Director on design systems and modern website design, turning ideas into clean, scalable interfaces. This role is remote from the Philippines with collaboration during Australian business hours (9am–5pm AEST/AEDT).

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain design systems (tokens, variables, components) used across multiple projects
  • Design innovative website concepts aligned to best-practice layouts and modern visual trends
  • Apply core web design rules to produce clean, responsive interfaces
  • Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility standards and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate daily with the Creative Director and wider team, working independently on your own setup

What you'll bring

  • Strong Figma skills (component libraries, design tokens, variables)
  • Solid understanding of design systems from creation to implementation
  • Command of web fundamentals: typography, colour theory, grids, responsive design
  • Working knowledge of accessibility and how to integrate it seamlessly
  • Ability to craft brand-aligned concepts and clearly explain your design thinking in English (role is not client-facing, but we value clear rationale)

Nice to have

  • Basic prototyping or motion using timeline-based tools
  • Familiarity with branding and marketing design
